Bead-Making Workshop to be hosted by Sundog Retreat!!

Join us for Friday dinner and stay through until Sunday afternoon. Lara will lead a polymer clay workshop introducing you to basic cane-making techniques. These simple millefiori canes will then be used as design elements for beads that you can use for jewellery, zipper pulls or magnets.

Lara will talk about different types of clay, and touch on colour blending. All materials and tools will be provided, so the only thing you need to bring are your hands.

Your package includes a welcoming fruit basket, accommodations with full amenities, time in the hot tub and sauna, and all bead-making supplies. Generous meals and snacks include Friday night appetizers and dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Saturday appetizers and dinner and a Sunday brunch.

"I am really looking forward to this weekend of making beads at our local retreat.  It is very close to my home and the same mountains, river and land that inspire my art.

We will be starting off on Friday evening with an introduction to polymer clay and the latest colours, spring lilac, granny smith and sunshine - I am very excited!   We might need to relax and soak in the hot-tub afterwards.  Saturday we will start off making canes and end up with beads (definitely need a hot tub after that or a walk in the fields to check out the swans).  Sunday you have the day to work on beads, bake your creations or just relax."

See you there
